Chef Jeff O'Neill
Jeff O’Neill formally began his extensive career by attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Upon graduation, he elected to work under Charles Palmer at Aureole, where he spent the next two years climbing the ranks of the kitchen, ultimately establishing himself as the restaurant’s Chef Saucier.
O’Neill went on to work at Daniel Boulud’s Daniel, Eric Ripert’s Le Bernardin and eatery L’Escalier at The Breakers Hotel, in Palm Beach. Most recently, he was the Executive Chef of Donald Trump’s ultra-exclusive Mar a Lago Club in Palm Beach. In addition to being a recipient of the “2008 Starchefs.com Rising Star” award, O’Neill was recognized for creating the “Best Dish” of the chosen “Rising Stars”, as voted by the chefs who share this distinguished honor. He has made multiple appearances on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, and his dishes consistently top Oprah Winfrey’s list of “the things you must try before you die”. In addition, O’Neill’s recipes are “the most downloaded recipes in Oprah.com history”-exceeding well over two million hits, according to the producers of the “Oprah Winfrey Show”. Chef Jeff’s recipes have been published in numerous international newspapers and magazines, and can be found on such influential websites as StarChefs.com and ChefsBest.org.
In August 2010, Jeff was selected by renowned Barton G. Weiss to serve as the Executive Chef of The Villa By Barton G., Miami’s most luxurious hotel, restaurant and venue, housed in the former Versace Mansion.
